Unable to download Uplay game files!!!!

I bought this game yesterday and I couldn't open it. This game shows "Unable to download Uplay game files"all the time. I tried everything I can on the internet include chage host, reinstall Uplay and so on, but nothing work. Could anyone offer a help? Thanks a lot!

having this problem too.

already had an issue with uplay crashing when checking for updates, fixed that by installing it through the website but now all i get is this error "unable to download uplay game files"

Hi friends.

Fix it is very easy. Fisrt you have to uninstall the ubisoft game launcher from Control Panel. After it, go to C:/Program Files, search ubisoft's folder and delet it. Now go to https://uplay.ubi.com/ and in the right header clic on "Download Uplay PC", install the software as every software ever haha. Now launch the game, log in/up, paste the product key and that´s all folks. Hope this help you.

Arreglar esto es muy sencillo. Primero debes desinstalar el Lanzador de Ubisoft desde el Panel de Control, despúes dirígete a C:/Archivos de Programa, busca la carpeta de Ubisoft y elimínala. Ahora entra a https://uplay.ubi.com/ y en el menú de la derecha clic en "Download Uplay PC", instalar el software como cada programa siempre haha. Ahora inicia el juego, ingresa/registrate, pega el serial y eso es todo amigos. Espero te haya ayudado.

I spammed the "try again" button, and it just ended up working somewhere between 5-15 clicks... It may not work for everyone, but it's another thing you could try.

Try this fix..worked for me!

'C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc'. Open it with any text/notepad, and then delete everything below these two lines of text:

127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost

Save (you need scipt permission) ;)
