Is this Game still worth buying?

I have only played Brotherhood before and now i'm interested to buy this one
But i read that there are many issues regarding Uplay
Or should i just pirate it 🙄

AC2 is set before Brotherhood.

Uplay was replaced with Ubisoft Connect.

I'd still say yes. Especiallly if atm it's with a discount.
Heck, for instance I'm currently replaying it alongside Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (AC:B). And probably after also gaming a few other gams most likely will replay other older games from this saga/franchise.

I got it recently with a huge discount. I did play Black Flag and Rogue. I really recommend to play Ezio Trilogy at least once in your life. Worth playing. You get nostalgia vibes playing this.

Just not to mention that AC II is one of the longest play time lasting games in history. Quality of the "golden era" of gaming tied with those exquisite story vibes, imho.

I started playing this game for the first time and about 5 hours in and it's amazing!!! I love buying the treasure maps and finding all those little chests 😁

The early AC games were a force of nature, and one of the most influential in the history of gaming. From II, to III, including the expansions of II, you literally have what Assassin's Creed is all about. The games are just so well done and put together. There's no obligation to play further than that, since none of the later games can even compare.... although Rogue is still quite high on my list.

Pirate. It certainly would be worth the price, too bad Ubi had to go and make a Uplay account mandatory.
