Cant log in to Uplay to play game

I had previously bought this game about a month ago, and Im trying to log in to ubisoft to play the game, but it wouldnt accept my credentials. so I made a new account and it still cant connect to uplay. It says I need to be logged in online at least once, and I am logged in.
This is my first time trying to play the game after I bought it about a month ago.

Games are only activated per account, if the problem persist, then it's a ubisoft problem and not the game.
You need the Ubi launcher to the latest version.

1. Uninstall Uplay and delete all files
2. Reboot PC
3. Download Ubisoft connect lastest version: https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6848-ubisoft-uplay.html

Just be sure to always get your Ubi$oft Connect[ubisoftconnect.com] from the original site.
And that's mostly to prevent any eventual phishing scam attempts like probably the link provided at 2 posts above mine.

It is a disapointing. I am playing on Linux and now UPLay always seays Connection Lost.
