Help with getting VisualFixup mod to work?

I launched the game, open cheat engine, selected the game process, loaded the visual fixup ct file but shadows are still ♥♥♥♥ in game

Use the hotkeys while in-game to enable/disable various fixups!

F1 = default shadow resolution
F2 = 2k shadows
F3 = 4k
(iirc, the mod itself is based on the Cheat Engine so these should be the appropriate key bindings)

Does the red X mean its activated or disabled? im confused

It says "applied" so yeah, congrats, you have successfully applied the shadow fix.

Weird. Alright, check this out. (Link below). Use this one, see what happens now. Remember: when you’re in-game press either F2 (2k shadows) or F3 (4k). Only choose one.

now F2 or f3 dont change anything ...and the values are crazy
