Assassin's Creed II CD Key or Activation Code

So I bought AC II on steam. I made a uplay account and everything. But when I tried to launch the game it asked for me to login to uplay. So I did but now it's asking for a CD key or Activation code. Thanks for the help of my previous question!

If you had the the game icon put on your desktop, double click on it and it should show a Activation code/CD code. If not;

1. Go into in your Steam Game Library.
2. Right Click on Assassin's Creed 2.
3. Click view CD Key.
That should cover getting the key.

Activating it on Uplay:
1. Click on games in the Uplay interface
2. There will be a box saying "Looking for games?" With 3 choices, Click on Activate Product.
3. Type in the CD Key.
4. Click Activate or Ok when it shows up what game you have activated.

Now it might take a few mins for everything to load up.

Press play after that. Then Steam will perform the first time setup since Uplay launches the game from Steam.

Now if before or after The first time setup, Uplay crashes/Says Uplay Has Stopped Working, You will have to close it and if you start Uplay again and go to play it MIGHT or MIGHT NOT Crash again. If it does;

1. Close Uplay.
2. Open the Windows Start Menu(The windows icon on the bottom left)
3. Type Uplay in the search bar.
4. Right click on Uplay.exe or Uplay Launcher and click Run as Administrator. If you are not the admin of the computer, you will need the admin's password.
5. Uplay should start back up and you should be able to play your game without it crashing.

I have had that problem to.
