Hope this answer to your question.
Do you know where I can still buy The lost archive DLC for revelation? It says it got deleted on Ubisoft connect
So you're saying a modern pc can play every pc game released? We both know that's not true. Also planned obsolescence? No... Consoles are easy, people like easy. I have a high end pc but I still buy consoles.
I am actually playing the Ezio collection on Xbox as well as the Uplay PC version(in 4K at the highest menu settings) at the same time and I can attest that it is not the same. The Ezio collection has better textures and doesn't look as faded as the PC version.
However I believe the console versions are still capable of 30 fps while I am playing the PC version at 60 fps.
It is still the same game. The remastered version just looks better and have improved draw distance and a host of improved visual post-processing effects.
However
Not with Xbox consoles. They have back compatibility for many games from previous generations including the AC games and some of them are enhanced to higher resolutions up to 4K with improved fps and auto HDR added even to games that didn't have them originally.
Of course you can still purchase the remasters if you like but you don't lose access to your games from previous generations.
Indeed, the same for me. But Ubisoft made a lot of bad choices since years and they are starting to regret it.
