Assassin's Creed II

Assassin's Creed II

Is Brotherhood and Revelations more of the same as AC2?
I loved the original AC game but i absolutely hate this one. Spongy enemies, stealth missions that makes no sense and frustrates you to death. Combat that makes you feel like a terrible assassin because of the spam attacks from enemies and all the interruptions of your killcam interactions. I dont like fighting in this game because its a waste of time unlike the original. It was a joy to start a combat in the original, So will the rest of the series be like AC2 because if it will i wont waste my time finishing this game! Please dont hate on me i just want to know if im wasting my life on this series!

A lot of the assassins creed games before Origins were very similar. The main things that changed over the games were graphics, easier controls, and story lines. I love AC2 but the newer games are a lot better in terms of controlling ezio

Brotherhood and Revelations are largely the same game, built in the exact sam engine as AC2. Starting with AC3, the games switch engines, and as a result AC3, Black Flag, and Rogue are very similar to each other.

There is one major change in combat Brotherhood (and Revelations) have when compared to AC2, the "kill streak" system. If you successfully counter an enemy, you can immediately execute another, assuming you don't get it. This makes combat against groups a lot faster (no more waiting for them to attack) but underneath it's still the same combat system.
