Yeah, I’ve seen some of those. Seems like a micro upgrade in the graphics department.
But what’s going on with the AC3 remaster then? Most assess it’s a pale comparison to the Ezio Trilogy, but they’re still putting it out for PC.
I don’t disagree with your prediction. If anything, the inconsistent rationales at work here underscore what seems to be a random approach.

?
Unity has fantastic graphics and 1:1 means that the size of the city in the game should be exactly the same as in real life.
Are there any modern games that achieved a 1:1 ratio of a real-life inspired location? I know "Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall" set low-definition records for landspace back in the day, but not sure what's come out since.
I'd play a remaster of AC1 if they included ubipoints for the other AC games.
