PS4 Controller not responding

Is it just me? Whenever I am in game, the controller is not working. But when I'm browsing the Steam (in Big Picture mode) it is working.
Anyone else noticed this or have any solutions?

I just got the game during the Steam sale. Does this issue happened before (if you owned the game for a long while)?

You should now be able to launch AC1 or AC2, enable the controller in the options menu and enjoy.
