Game crashes when I try to load a file.

So I recently got the Hi-Octane mod and it was working fine at first, but all of a sudden when I try to load my save file, the game just freezes and closes itself. I've tried looking in the files to see if there's anything missing, but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. So now the £15 I spent to play this game are pretty much wasted now unless I can get this sorted. Help?

You cant load a old save file if you installed the mod.Just make a new save file.

YOU WANT IT? Go to 'Cars Video Game Modding Wiki' and search for Cars: Hi-Octane Edition, and then download v1.9.2.1 (the latest version). Then, replace the original DataPC folder in Mater-National's directory with the one that comes with the mod.

Yeah my problem is almost the same, when i finally placed the DataPC folder from the mod into the game, it crashes and the game won't even load with the mod. I really want the mod! Can someone help me please? Also i know this comment is from 2017, but I need help.

Are you using v1.9.2.3 of the mod? If so, that happened to me too at first. Try loading the game a few times and it may or may not work eventually.

Well, many years ago finally i knew how to install the Superdrive Edition. All I have to say is... better than sex >:)
