2 is inferior in all ways.
Exploring sucks, enemies are all just drones, bosses suck, the world just isn't as mysterious, and the music lacks the same feel as the first.
He literally put the option to just make the game as easy as possible, and no trace or continuation of the story its just a step back in every way.
Currently playing the first game on ps5 and its a blast, but this game just doesn't feel as satisfying.
The drone operating in 2 looks fun, plus I like fighting robots just as much as organic aliens.
All that said, I do agree that Axiom Verge 2's bosses aren't as good as the first game's bosses.
I'm confused why options to make the game easier are a problem for you. You can just... not use them? I didn't use them. There's also the option to crank the sliders up and make the game even harder, too, if you want.
