no mods?

I'm rather surprised no one has bothered to mod the game, would have been interesting the kind of content that could have come from it.

A lot of people like it and I hear it is not hard to mod since the levels are done in XML apparently. It is suited for a randomizer mod it seems. But since the target audience are those who played metroid as kids, now we're too busy working long hours to have the time to mod the game.

still surprised someone who has the talent for modding has ever touched this game, it's like the game disappeared you dont see it anywhere.

I have experience in xml, graphics design, and ambient music (which is not as catchy as the current soundtrack). I am not particularily experienced in game programming. If there is ever a group of people who wants to mod the game I will gladly help out. Maybe I will send Mr. Happ a message about it through that forum.

I just bought this game woudl love to have a reason to replay it again, having some extra content new weapons for example would be really interesting.

After this long though I dont see any mods being done to it.

I realize I'm necroposting but I do need to point out that that's not an Axiom Verge mod, that's a mod for Starbound that adds items from Axiom Verge to that other game.
