Game keeps crashing when pressing "START"

I had some crash problems at the end of the game but managed to complete it.
For some odd reason I didn't get the "Hacker" achievement even though I thought I was very thorough, so I decided to start the save file again and go back and "re-hack" all the enemies again.

(I did hack the wasps from the wasp boss like 9 of them and also the drones on the last boss)

After I "re-hacked" all the enemies I chose quit to title and saved the game. The save should be right before the last boss.

But now everytime I press "START" in the main menu the game crashes. I can't even start a new game on a different save fie because the game crashes before that menu. Pressing options, speed run and exit game works for some odd reason.

I tried veryfing the game files and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, also tried to disable steam overlay.

Any help would be great

If the speedrun mode works, it seems like one of your 3 save files was corrupted. If you can send them to me at support "at" axiomverge com, I can try to de-corrupt them. I'm out of town so it probably won't be untli Monday that I can do it. You can find your save files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(your user number)\332200\remote

Hello Axiom Verge!

I have since then managed to get the rest of the achievements I had left, including hacker on a speedrun. So I'm done with the game for now. If I ever want to play a new game I will just delete the corrupted savefile.

But I really appreciate and thank you for taking your time to answer and that you were actually willing to fix my savefile. Kudos to you good sir.

Okay great. If/when you delete them the best time is on the title screen when the game is running, so that Steam's cloud saves don't overwrite the deleted file.

It is an e-mail address, support "at" axiomverge com. I hope that makes it more clear without giving more fuel to the spam machine.
