Video Card Not Supported
This game worked well on my old PC. But when I try to start it on my new PC, it says that my video card is not supported. Here's the message I get when I try to start the game: http://prntscr.com/7fnhhk

I get the same message and continue anyway. That would be weak if this game no longer supported the 900 series for Nvidia cards. Other than that, I'm still able to play this game without problems despite this pop-up message. Sure, it's annoying, but whatever.

I'm unable to play it at all with the AMD R9 200 series. I have the R9 270.

My own R9 280 was able to run it, despite the warning. You should probably report the product on Steam for being broken, along with a screenshot.

I run the game just fine with my Nvidia Gtx 770 also..... It rab perfectly fine on my older system which had a10 7850k i-gpu I think thats a Radeon r7 250 ? 512 stream prossesors or something? Everything runs better on Nvidia just admit it.

Correction: ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ports run better on Nvidia, and Nvidia has unfair and borderline illegal marketing tactics to sabotage the competition.

Sup. I know this is an old post and this is my first time posting to any forums on steam. But I had the same problem and got the game to run on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop with a mobile integrated AMD GPU/processor (AMD A10-7400P Radeon R6). I went to the SC: Conviction folder under steam apps - common and then opened the "src" folder and deleted the following file "systemdetection.dll". Then I went to Ubisoft's page and downloaded the uplay app launcher and the game runs on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer. You'll still get those pop ups saying it can't find the systemdetection file and stuff, but just click okay and it will launch. With the uplay app, you can also finally use the damn product key that keeps popping up when you launch it from steam. From there on out, just use the ubisoft app launcher to play the game. Not the best experience for me; a lot of frame rate drop below 10 FPS which makes it unbearable a majority of the time. But it still launches and runs. The problem is the game isn't well optimized to run off other tech but that doesn't mean it can't.

I understand that only certain graphics cards are supported for this game and all the system requirements needed, but to write off that a 6 year old game wont run on a system due to this is somewhat a cop out I tend to hear only from PC elitists. My laptop is cheap and hardly "top of the line" but runs a whole slew of games it probably shouldn't. I've been playing Fallout 4 with this ♥♥♥♥ graphics card and again, it's not the best or prettiest experience but it still runs and is playable with minor FPS drop on low settings. And I had people tell me in forums that I was wasting my time downloading FO4 on this laptop and that it would never run. But I have 2 lvl 60+ characters and I've still enjoyed the hell out of the game. Moral of the story: ubisoft sucks at supporting their games.

Anyways, sorry for the rant. Hope this helps.
