Co-op With Radmin Vpn not working -
Was looking for helping getting co-op working with a friend

The problem were facing with RadminVpn, is that despite being able to see the other play in the "Lan" setting, and being able to join the session

We still get the error code "Unable to connect"

The help ive currently found, doesnt translate to our problem - Weve seen that you're able to join through the gaming network setting on Radmin, but we dont know the username and password / domain its asking for when clicking on the other player through the radmin client.

Would love some help, possibily even through discord aswell if possible

First thing to play via Radmin you or your friend should have NAT Type Open. Check it on W10 by pressing Settings -> Gaming -> Xbox Networking -> Nat Type. If it’s closed – ask your ISP to unlock some UDP ports (udp 9100, 9103, 10196) for you or ask about public IP. Usually, public IP is a service and has to be paid for. Most ISPs close unused ports or use CGNAT both of which influence your p2p connectivity to other players. Conviction is and old game and hardcoded on p2p connection.

If your Nat Type is Open/Moderate – join public Conviction rooms in Radmin VPN, not client. They do not require a password, though you also connect to other people who are online and have that program running. You need to have a direct connection with each other. After that just try to connect in the game. Might need to switch hosts a bit and click some more times but generally should work.

hi, i had the same problem! With a high probability I can say that you or your partner uses an Internet connection through a router. Or the router / antivirus / firewall is incorrectly configured, blocks some necessary addresses, the UPnP must be enabled! Try to use the internet connection via cable directly to the computer without a router, it helped me. I didn’t even need to open additional ports for the game, it already connected to a partner in the lobby and we played without problems.

Same problem, using one router, firewalls disabled, nothing works....can see each other but "connection not responding" error when joining.
