Insurgency DLC not showing in game.

I've bought the DLC, installed (and uninstalled) it, verified the game files, cleared download cache, restarted Steam, my PC, and even reinstalled Conviction all together and they're still not showing up in game. And yes, I have tried scrolling before you suggest it. They're simply not there. This has been very frustrating and I'd be grateful if someone could shine a light on this issue.

are you running the game in offline mode, the maps never show in offline mode. For some reason in my game they never show the first time, i always play one normal map and complete it, go to the menu and then see the insurgency maps

I managed to sort it. Turns out you have to write down the CD key, go to exclusive content on the main menu, click on "redeem code" in the bottom right and type it in. I guess I've become so used to modern games just doing everything automatically. I forgot redeeming codes was even a thing.

HTF did you get to reedem the code when you click exclusive content and it tries to connect

I don't know man, I didn't have any problems with connection. Sounds like that might be a separate issue

you mustve been lucky enough to try it just before they shut it down

I contacted Ubisoft support and they basicly said they dont give a flying F about me not being able to activate the DLC I paid for

since I was officialy abandoned by the game publisher I will have to look for some crack or unlocker to get what I legaly purchased

They announced that SC Conviction's multiplayer server will be shutting down since the beginning of the year, just look at the older discussion that talked about this

to be fair, if I knew that shutting down server means I wont be able to redeem my content I would have done it long ago

honestly, when I bought the DLC back in the day years ago I HAD NO IDEA that I need to activate it IN-GAME like launch the game and write code there

if I knew that I would do it on the same day I bought it, but I HONESTLY THOUGHT I bought the DLC so I have it what is there more to do? Like do they write on the store page a warning that once you buy this you will have to REDEEM the content in the game while our servers are running?

so I purchased the DLC years ago, and I didnt bother to activate the DLC

BECAUSE IT NEVER OCCURED to me that it would work in such IDIOTIC WAY

and now I find out the hard way just how FFF stupid Ubisoft bussiness practices are

Well, even if you successfully redeem the DLC, it won't appear in the mission list, just like me. The DLC needs Conviction server to be online, if its's offline then the DLC won't appear

It's suck? Very much. Almost no DLC content works like this piece of cr*p

my friend bought Conviction and DLC on Ubi store and it works

he just downloaded and he has DLC missions showing up and didnt need to do some exclusive content activation so Ubisoft has the means to enable DLC content to us other then that idiotic redeem code in exclusive content that is no longer working

I will be posting ticket so that they activate on my account the Ubi store version

Go to PCGamingWiki for Splinter Cell Conviction (Steam probably won't let me post links, so I won't bother), and follow the super easy instructions to restore the maps there (involves replacing the EXE and a new CFG file) and say a big eff you to Ubisoft ! :-)
