I need a CD Key
I downloaded this game via steam family sharing meaning I didn't actually purchase this myself. The CD Key steam is giving me is linked to the account I downloaded this from. I searched online for CD key generators, but they all require me to download something and just seems really shady. Anyone know of somewhere I can get one that doesn't include me probably downloading a virus?

I am only interested in the single player btw. If there is even just a way to open the game without trying to connect to Uplay that would help.

Here is not the best place for looking for that kind of help bc it is the official steam forum and its against rules post any crack links or any other ilegal stuff, besides its easy to find if you google it.

you could just click on the CD key option in your steam and get it.
its not that hard

If you look at the right when you click on the game once in your Steam- games, you can see many things like writing a review. There is an option which shows your CD- key for this game. This code you can type into the bar for your product- key.

The problem is I am using steam family share, which means I didn't purchase the game myself but rather downloaded it from a friends library. The CD key that steam gives me is the one my friend already used, so it doesn't work. I have been looking online for some type of random cd key generator (which I have seen for other games before), but every one of them requires me to download some type of file and I simply don't trust them.
