Fix for "The Splinter Cell Conviction server is not available at this time" Message
I noticed recently that a large number of people have been having issues with this message, the same way I have for the last couple of months owning the game.

This message appers if your account has a bad CD key connected to it. Ubisoft had released numerous bad CD keys that will not properly register your account to the Ubisoft servers, making them appear unavailable.

To fix this you have to get in touch with Ubisoft support. This will take considerable time depending on when you call the support number, but once on the phone they will ask for your email or username associated with your Uplay account.
The number is: (1-919-460-9778)

It should take about 1-2 hours for your account's CD key to be removed and emailed to you. I am unsure about other fixes such as the Tunngle lan emulator, but this has worked for me and I hope to see more people in the co-op multiplayer waiting to play.

There is also a fix if your problem isn't the CD key, but your router settings. If that is the case then you will need to port forward the following ports:

9103, 9100, 10196 (UDP outbound/inbound)
22350 - 22380 (TCP inbound)

I doubt this is true, but I already contacted Steam and Ubi soft that if this does not get fixed, i want a refund...so we will see.

Well like I said, it worked for me and I hope you can get your refund if for some reason they can't issue you a new key.

Lego, I just called, all I get is computer after computer, what exactly am I suppose to do. Let me ear bleed to death? I be better of getting a refund than wasting my time talking to idiots.

Sorry to hear that, my only suggestion is to call mid-day on a week day (as not a lot of people will be on the lines at 1:00 in the afternoon :P). Other than that, I hope you get your refund.

I just emailed them. It took a couple of days but not too many. Steam keys for this game are terrible but dont worry guys

If anyone can get an answer please post it here so it's easier for all of us too resolve our problems.

Edit: I have also sent an email to ubisoft support. Let's see how it goes.

guys forget it i talked to ubisoft via e-mail and they told me to open up ♥♥♥♥ in my firewall i did it still didnt work so then they asked me to send them proof that i changed it and stuff like that having dona that they still cant help dumb pricks i think ill just have to wait for steam to take action

Just told him that everyone who got it this steam sale has the same issue. He then stopped talking about my router and told me he will test my copy. Hope to get a reply today , but as its after work hours I think it will more likley be tomorrow.
