Windows 11 does not launch

This game is not launching. I bought it from Steam itself. When I click, it says launching then after 1 second it closes the window and nothing happens. Any help?

UPDATE: I made it work. Here is the solution:

Download and install previous version of DirectX. Then it will prompt you to link Ubisoft Connect, so make sure the latter is already installed on your PC. Login on Ubisoft to link and play.

Also, do set the game compatibility mode to Windows 7 and check the option Run as Administrator.

First you have to go into File Explorer and check "show hidden files." Then go to This PC/Program Data/Ubisoft/Conviction/ConvictionUserPC.ini. Open the .ini in Notepad and change the Fulscreen Viewports X and Y to your monitor resolution, e.g. 1920 x 1080. Then change MaxRefreshRate value to that of your monitor's refresh rate. That last step is most important. Save and it should be good.
