How to close your helmet?

During a cut scene my character opened their helmet but it's remained open the rest of play through. How do I shut it?

I have tried equipping and un-equipping and it doesn't work and I see no other options.

I remember this thing because happened to me too. I fixed it not unequipping it, but opening the wheel of weapons/armors, bringing the arrow to the helmet and releasing the wheel button, nothing else

you just fling your mouse on the equipment slot of your helm without clicking. Then he opens or close it.

It's also the same if you have a cloak with a hood, e.g. the civ disguise.

NO NOoooo guys, you take it to smithy and let him do couple wacks with his hammer for a silver and it fixes.

To toggle the visor, hold the left D-Pad (or T on KB) to open the Quick Menu, navigate to the Armor tab, and hover over the helmet slot. Then, press down on the Right Stick (R3) on Controller or scroll the mouse wheel to open or close the visor.

same way to equip/unequip the hood for cloaks.
