Can't start base game, only expansion

Whenever I start Dawn of discovery (by clicking on the DoD icon in the list,) it loads the venice addon instead of DoD. How can i play the base game?

I swore I would never buy another ubisoft title again, and the only reason I did this time was it was only $3 or so..... Now I see that it is just not worth it at ANY price. Never Ubi, Never Again!

Uhm, try starting Dawn of Discovery Venice. A message should appear, then select Dawn of Discovery to play the standard game

the original scenarios are accessible inside Venice. It on the last "new scenario" tab.

just right click on your Dawn of Discovery Venice link in steam and choose play dawn of discovery. works fine for me
no need to uninstall venice

Who said anything about uninstalling?

click on play venice in your steam library.

after the pop-up box comes up, choose the regular version.
