Bug: Endlessly Spinning Camera
Something about the Steam version of the game does funky things to the camera. This problem has happened before, but I just stopped playing for a bit and when I came on after a few months or so it was gone. I have successfully played the game on Steam before, even recently, but just now when I logged on to try the Titan update the spinning happened.

Basically, I log in and the camera is far above my avatar, looking down, and both the camera and my avater are rapidly spinning counterclockwise. As noted by a few other people who've had this issue, it is as if I were holding down the 'A' or left arrow key.

Usually the character is spinning on the spot, but occasionally the spinning occurs in a circle, as if the "Q" key were also being held down. However, the circle is not perfect, and the character does move gradually in a particular direction. What that direction might be I couldn't tell you, due to the spinning, but if I spawn near a cliff the character will sometimes end up falling off it after a few circles.

But it is not an issue of the game believing a key is being held down, as all the keys still function. Pressing W sends my character walking forward--though ultimately in a circle, as forward is spinning. Spacebar sends me into a twirling jump a figure skater would be proud of. Pressing D doesn't make me turn clockwise, but it does noticeably slow the speed of the counterclockwise spin. Pressing A results in the spin increasing to blinding speeds.

(Which makes me sure it's not an issue on my end, because if it was caused by the game somehow reading A as being pressed down, actually pressing A wouldn't do anything.)

So it is possible for me to continue to walk around the world, by adjusting the speed of the spin with A and D, and using W and S to walk forwards and backwards to keep me moving in the direction I wish to go depending on which way the spin has me facing.

But obviously this is labourous and frankly frustrating to attempt. Additionally, I can't use my mouse to manipulate the camera in any way, so I must rely on my memory of the layout of an area to get anywhere, since I can't look around and see where I'm going.

Opening a window, like the options or store page or dragon list, causes the spinning to stop for as long as the window is open. Changing areas does not stop it. Interactive items still highlight as my mouse passes over them, and while clicking on them is difficult I can do it. But, in my dragon stables where I tried this, clicking on the mission board causes the camera to suddely jerk in, the spinning to have a hitch, before the camera resumes it's bird's eye view and the spinning continues.

I do not have a joystick or gamepad or whatever else the other people had. I've simply got a keyboard and mouse. This isn't occurring in any other program, game or otherwise, on my computer. I initially opened the game through Steam, used Steam to verify the game cache, and when the spinning still occurred after restarting the game, closed it and opened the browser version from the website. Still spinning. Cleared the Unity cache. Still spinning.

Opened the game in the mobile app. Not spinning! Opened the game in browser... Also not spinning! OMG! Opened in Steam! ... Back to spinning. Opened the game in browser... also spinning.

So there you have it. The Steam version is all glitchy, and somehow carries it over to the browser version, but not the mobile version. But if I open the browser version after logging on and then closing the mobile version, it doesn't spin.

odd... have you tried reinstalling it?
do you have any external joystick connected?
are you making sure that while the game loads no buttons are being held down(ex. i had a game that i just kept moving in one direction because when it loaded it automatically calibrates the keyboard... and i was clicking the arrow keys while waiting.
also this game has issues so hopefully the developers will stop expanding the game and start fixing it.
