Fullscreen issues
Okay! So apparently for a weird reason I can't play this game on fullscreen, I have a WIndows 8 Pro pc that should be able to....run nearly everything, except a game from early 2000's, perfect. Anyone know a fix for this weird issue ?

try turning off the hardware accelration then try fullscreen. It worked for me.

Without hardware acceleration the screen is stretched in 16:9 and looks ugly.

Changed Pc's a while ago and it seems it was my video card which had the issues

The game simply has a very low maximum resolution. It will never look good, sorry. ):

the problem can be solved lowering your system resolution to 1024 x 768. When running under windos 7, the system automatically changed the resolution. Now that I run Windows 8.1 pro, I have to do this manually.

Hey, found a better solution:
using windows explorer, search for /program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/insaniquarium deluxe
change the "insaniquarium.exe" and "insaniquariumdeluxe.exe" properties - compatibilities - and mark the "run in 640 x 480 resolution".
That solved for me.

It's OK if your game has black bars on a widescreen. I had that too when playing the demo. Obviously the maximum AND minimum resolution being 640x480. *pat pat*

HI guys, I am running the game in windows 10, by changing the "run in 640x480" trick did not work. Any suggestions? Thanks

this sucks because this game was such a big part of my childhood..

the best fix I can find is to run in compatibility mode for windows vista this also lets you enter full screen to my shock XD
