Is there a way to back up the game?

This is my girlfriends game and we downloaded it on my laptop under her username. We got to like tank 2-3. And then when she tried launching it on her laptop, she had to start over. Is there a way to make the game sync with steam?

We bought it off of the steam store.

This game doesn't have Cloud sync, unfortunately, and likely never will until either EA gives it some love (HA, fat chance) or someone buys the IP off of them and then breathes life back into it.

There are however, lots of third party sites that will let you save files to them that sync across the web, like Dropbox, and I think a few are even tailored specifically for games. You'll need to locate the savedata files within your Steam directory if possible. I've looked and can't find them, but my computer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to all hell and files might be in places they shouldn't be, so you might have better luck. Start with Steam/steamapps/common, that's where most of that stuff is found.

Your save files are in C:\ProgramData\Steam\Insaniquarium\userdata
