HD version ?

this beautiful game has been around for a plenty of time now
it's a significant part of gaming history for a lot of us m doesn't it deserve an HD version ?

Technically speaking this WAS the HD version back when it was released. There's even an option for more advanced rendering that smooths everything out (albeit with issues). The original Insaniquarium was a free game on AOL games a long, long time ago.

Also, Flying Bear Entertainment is defunk now, and EA owns all the rights. Very improbable this game will ever see updates or a sequel that isn't a microtransaction filled ♥♥♥♥ show like all the Plants vs Zombies sequels were.

Also, there did used to be a modding community, but that site was permanently archived about a decade ago. You can still read the posts though, so it could be possible to start up another modding community around this game.

As I've just found out, that modding site actually completely shut down in December of last year.
Someone managed to save all of the utilities though, so programs that let you make your own fish songs and stuff like that is all here: http://insaniquarium.wikia.com/wiki/Insaniquarium_Utilities.
