what happened to flying bear entertainment?

insaniquarium was co developed by flying bear entertainment, i went to their website and the last update from them was in 2005, and insaniquarium deluxe stopped receiving updates at 1.1 with clear signs there were probably more things planned, so something had to have happened to flying bear entertainment, so my question is... what happened?

Maybe they went bankrupt? Or maybe Popcap severed ties with the company.

I would love to know what happened too. I would honestly funnel money into a sequel or even a remaster to put them back on the radar.

George Fan, the creator of Flying Bear Entertainment, is making a new game called Octogeddon. You can find him on twitter.

Also, Flying Bear Entertainment was included, among other studios, with EA's purchase of Popcap years back. This was well after the release of Plants vs Zombies. After EA bought out Popcap, they fired most of the original studio members.
