Thanks for the heads up! I tried out your suggestion though and it only made the setting option read 1920x1080 in the menu it didnt fix the issue :c
I love you man, I played this game time ago while I was 6, then when I was 12 to 15 and had this issue with the mouse. Now I wanted to play it again so I bought it and the first thing I noticed was this issue with the mouse that I forget about. Now I can play it perfectly with this solution.
Note: For logitech users, this setting is called "Report Rate"
I have a logitech how do i change my report/polling rate? (am i going to need to install some software for it?)
Yup, it's software based. Though not all mice support changing the polling/report rate and Logitech has different control programs for different lineups of products.
To see if your mouse can has control software go here https://support.logi.com/ (or search for Logitech support if you don't want to follow random links) type in the name of your mouse in the search bar, once you find it and go to it's dedicated support page see if there are any downloads available for it. For mine (a G502 wireless) the downloads are Logitech G hub (the aforementioned controller), onboard memory manager (no idea what that does yet), and a firmware update tool.
If there is a control software available for your mouse, choose your operating system from the menu just above the list and then download and install the appropriate application. from there it depends entirely on which application your mouse uses so unfortunately I can't give you any more help without knowing which application it'll use.
If you're unsure if your mouse has an application post the model of mouse you have and I can try looking it up for you.
Cheers
