Repair Rate = How Long a ship sits at a Dock or Tender to Repair
Leadership = To the best of my knowledge Leadership effects how good your crew is on Boarding Ships/Bases, how well they repel boarders, and how effective they are at putting out fires
Gunnery = Overall Gunnery only effects accuracy to the best of my knowledge
Sinking Ships = Overall it is dependent on the ship but overall if you destroy a section you can destroy the ship by continuing to fire on that destroyed section causing critical damage. Example: Destroy the Aft Section of a Navy Man O War or Starhammer and continued firing on it will cause it critical damage and will destroy all other sections
Fire = Fires will cause X damage per second as long as they are not put out. The best way to "Spread" a fire is to use fire causing weapons such as Lancers and that will help spread the fire to other sections. Again the Leadership stat will help put out fires and if the object is made out of Stone or Iron; it will be almost nearly invulnerable to fire damage.
