Just because the composite terms spin-off and rip-off share a common term doesn't mean they're the same: if Sony approves it, it's a spin-off, not a rip-off, right? Motiram will be available on PlayStation with Sony's blessing, because Tencent and Sony are allied through joint studios in which they have common interests. Not to mention that the good and great semiosis in Motiram, especially about the life and death of civilizations and of the human mind, seems to be taken to the next level compared to Horizon, more direct and explicit, but we'll see about that when it comes out. Actually, they don't own the rights to this, sure, they own 'Horizon Zero Dawn and such titles and the name Aloy, but since this likely has the backing of China, the owners of Horizon Zero Dawn and its IP will not moan about it.....unless they want to incur the malice of China and risk losing that Billions of Profits.

The thing is, alot of people love this potential game, i know i do, the MC is cute, Feminine and so are pretty much all the females in the videos, so unless the Developers are stupid and hires a DEI company to 'consult' it will remain that way and it will be hyper successful....if 10Cent can do the game without making it a 'you can't do anything without paying for it, if you know what i mean.

Blizzards entire company was built on stealing other peoples games and ideas, pokemon was the same they stole the idea and ran with it, in short stealing games is a time honored tradition where eveyone used to reconize that so long as they were better curators of what they stole they got to keep it and when they did not they lose it instead.

After looking at both available videos, and having heavily played every HZD game and Monster Hunter title (200+H in each), I can say with certainty that they are copying animations and models and just tweaking them a bit. The G-hammer attacks shown are nearly identical to MH G-hammers. Several enemy models use the same movement and attack animations as HZD:FW.

That being said, I think Palworld copied alot of stuff, and it was a fun game. We will have to see if this game will be the same, but when looking at the history of the company and its live-service nature... I fear it will be ruined by greedy grindy add-on mechanics.

I just found this game like 10 minutes ago and I immediately had the same exact thoughts, so I looked it up and found other people saying the same thing, that its completely & painfully obvious what the game wants to be, I came back to steam and found exactly what I was looking for. That comment. The first Horizon was in 2017, thats almost 10 years ago, No "Light of Motiram" existed. This game isnt a sequel it aint nothing to do with HZD. Its a shell of something better. This game is the Syndrome to Mr. Incredible, except its not even gonna leave a dent. Also, try to let people know they're about to have a stroke when reading the first line of your sentences.
