We can think that either the base game will be free like a prologue and that there will be paid DLCs, or that it will be a F2P with in-game purchases. We will see at the release or if it is specified by then. This means that the goal is to maintain the game servers as long as possible and offer new content year after year, while there are enough players involved.

I would say they will do what conan exiles did, packs with diff styles of buildings, armors/weapons/pets and battle pass

And we can imagine new map areas, new quests, for a story and therefore an endless game. Single-price online games cannot maintain servers for more than a few months to a few years and inevitably end up shutting down.

I learn a lot of great stuff from content creators and influencers. Just depends on who you listen to/watch. There are a lot of really great, open-minded and informative folks that you can find. That's like saying you dislike humanity because of all the potential for crime. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, you know?
