Failed to create bitmap

Hello,
I recieved this error after going to the same location twice and each time the game crashing on me.
"script 'cache' line 106:RGSSError Occured
Failed to create bitmap"

Hey Darklight, which area is presenting this error?

right after using the first world shard to go to that area and when you defeat that first dark rogue and the monkey the area they were blocking fails to load

You're running the Steam version, right? Have to check.

So to clarify, you beat the Shadow Sect grunt, walk through the door and immediately encounter the error?

I can't see any problems on my end - nothing that I know throws up an error like this. Send me your save file (and be sure to include details of the bug in the email) to [e-mail] ?
