This game is awesome! Is there anything similar?

So i just platinumed the game on PS4 and i absolutely love it! Stranger Things / Goonies with great pixel art and fun gameplay. I havent enjoyed a game as much as this in a long long time.

A group of kids in the 80's with their bikes going on an adventure, its perfect for me. This is absolutely in my top 10 favourite games of all time!

That being said does anyone know of any other games that are even remotely similar?

EDIT: And those old cartoon style cutscenes had me dribbling :D

Earthbound has the same theme, about a group of kids on an adventure.

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG, is similar i think, and is inspired by Earthbound.

Undertale is famously inspired by Earthbound.

Secret of Evermore is a game about a boy and his dog on an adventure in another world. (one of my all-time favs btw.)

If you want to play videogames in set in the 1980s your options are limited:
I can recall some of them. GTA Vice City e.g.
An old adventure game called Zack McCracken, Larry Laffer series etc. There are still games around made in that timeline.

If you want to play games similar to the same genre you have more options:

Mages of Mystralia
Secret of Mana
Chrono Trigger
All older Zelda games, the 3d zelda games
Megamagic Wizards of the neon age
Hotline Miami

And many many more. 2d action adventure is the genre. or pixelart 2d action adventure. I am interested in more games like crossing souls too. I own the game on Twitch.
