Regarding Fibbage XXL Content

It's my favorite party game of the bunch to play with friends, but we've noticed that the game started to quickly grow stale. It feels as if the content isn't as big we'd like to make it out to be (as some categories we've already used started to pop up more frequently), and me and my friends would like to know if Jackbox Games plans on releasing future updates/DLC content to expand the longevity of this game.

The same question also goes towards YDKJ 2015 and Drawful, though we seldom touch YDKJ and Drawful already has enough prompts to last us a very long time.

It is unlikely that we will be able to add any DLC packs to the current version in the near future. We will at some point have more Fibbage content for everyone though.

Is there any estimate on when additional Fibbage content might arrive?

Have you considered the possiblity of Workshop support so that people can write their own silly questions?

I was warned that the questions repeat pretty quickly... I had no idea it would so soon - the THIRD GAME! When I discovered this game, I was hooked immediately and bragged about it to my family, friends, and co-workers. Now, I regret doing that. There needs to be a business plan for this company to add new questions and content... otherwise, my money back.

The game will not show you repeats after your 3rd game, it's not possible. You will not see repeated content until you have finished all of the content, which will take around 10-12 hours. However, if you had previously played on someone else's device, then they would have different save data than you. This would mean you could see a category at a friends house, then see it again on your console.

Would it be possible to add Fibbage content without the voice-over? Online play means reading it to everyone via voicechat anyway. Adding more like that would be relatively effective, I think.

I'm not sure if this statement is entirely accurate. My friends and I have played about 3 hours worth or so, definitely nowhere near all the content, and already we are seeing repeated questions.

The game is installed on my laptop, and we've only ever played on the one system....

Have you watched any streams or videos of the game? That might be how you recognize some of the content. You cannot get repeated content until you are all the way through the list, which will take around 10-12 hours of content depending how fast you play.

No, we have seen repeat questions, while playing the game with each other.

1 person getting confused, sure. But 4 people all saying they saw the same questions repeat in under 3 hours of gameplay, how dense do you think we are?

we only played 3 games of fibbage (same night) and had a couple of repeated questions already, would be nice if they didnt repeat quite so often

Is it possible you deleted your save files? It really should be impossible for content to repeat after 3 games of Fibbage. The other possibility again, is that you saw it on a twitch stream, or youtube video of the game, happens quite frequently.

We will look into this to make sure nothing is wrong, and will fix and update the game if necessary.

I have noticed, that when I stop in the middle of an episode of YDKJ, the next time I try to play I am forced to play the exact same questions, so my theory is, maybe we didn't finish a couple of games of Fibbage, due to connection issue etc, and so those questions may not have been saved as answered already, so they popped up again or something.

That's just my theory anyway....

YDKJ is episode-based, which means that every time you play, you actually play a set selection of questions. If you quit mid-game, the game will load the same episode again, which will result in repeats.

As far as I've seen from just playing a few rounds of Fibbage/Drawful/etc, they aren't episode-based, so questions are drawn randomly from a big pool.

It's possible that Fibbage questions don't get marked as 'seen' unless the round concludes properly and fully, but frankly, I don't see why it would be done that way. Then again, I don't really know the underlying architecture of the game, so who knows?
