Changing Resolution?
Hi.
I can't find a menu to change the resolution of the game and it looks quite pixelish. Does anyone know?

Gonna buy it today and I came here wondering the same thing.

There is no option to change the resolution, but it should not look 'pixelish'. You can resize the window if you are playing in windowed mode.

Thanks for the reply! Do you know what the native resolution the game runs at?

Alright so I bought the game and it's definitely pixelated. For some reason the PC version only runs at 720p while the console versions run at 1080p.

Is there no way the PC version could get an upgrade to 1080p? Because right now I'm regretting purchasing it on the PC instead of on my Xbox One.

It's a little frustrating knowing that the PC version is a downground of the console versions.

Here's a comparison:

Playstation: http://i.imgur.com/JYw1l17.png?1

Notice how pixelated the PC version is in comparson.

Yes, those are definitely different. We are not seeing that on our PCs, it may have something to do with your PC setup.

We are looking into this and will hopefully be able to fix it and update the game for you.

Im having the same issue. If one of you figure out a work around let me know

Same problem here, menus and in-game video look incredibly low-res.
Amusingly, going to Windowed mode provides a significantly higher resolution display than fullscreen, even in a smaller window. Running 1080p here as well, AMD video card, latest drivers.
Looks like the windowed mode is running 16:10 aspect. Possibly higher resolution 16:9 options were left out of the auto-selector?
Also, running in a resized window results in the question segue videos being scaled wrong, and cut off on the side and bottom.

same problem here.
happening here too. I have an NVIDIA card.

Resizing the window produces sharp lines. Resizing window then making fullscreen makes it slightly higher quality than going straight to fullscreen.

I'm also having the same problem, I'm on AMD.

It's quite a disappointing case of poor exclusive full-screen programming

For anyone looking for a temporary fix, try this

1. Open the game
2. Set it to windowed
3. Run Windowed Borderless Gaming
4. Select the Jackbox game window, press F3
5. Set the Resolution in the settings to 1920x1080 like so[i.imgur.com]

It works perfectly except for the video sequences which seem to be cropped weirdly (this is an issue from the game as even just windowed mode produces the same result)

I'd like to bump this, as I'm also experiencing this issue in fullscreen mode. There's no .ini that I could find to force the config to up the resolution. I imagine this is going to be particularly irksome with the whole 4K monitor thing kicking into gear, but even a 1080p monitor is suffering.

As mentioned by others, windows mode resized looks just fine. It'd be nice to have a native method to fix this without relying on Windowed Borderless Gaming.

We dont have any new info on this, still trying to find some solutions. Might just be a problem with certain setups, we'll keep digging

Strangely enough, I WASN'T having this issue the first couple of times I played the game, but all of the sudden yesterday it came up, along with an inability to use overlays from Steam or XSplit:

Any solution on the horizon?

I had this issue, but it resolved after restarting my computer. No idea why but there you are

It is a simple request to allow us to easily change the resolution! We don't need menus to do it, just read this data from a configuration file in the simplest form - INI, or even simpler:

display_width.txt (800)
display_height.txt (600)
display_depth.txt (32)

We will fiddle with the text, but as developers this should be supported and I'm frustrated to discover this after purchasing all of the three games at once. This issue seems to exist since the first party game two years ago.

"No problems on my machine!" is one of the most common responses which shows lack of professionalism.
