Can't Connect To Servers?

Alright, so I can load up dota or tf2 and connect fine, but it consistently says I'm unable to connect to the servers for this. I'm super bummed out cause I was excited to play too, any advice on what to do? I tried restarting steam, verifying files, all that.

Restarting steam or verifying files won't help you, since they use the "Jackbox" Servers, a seperate way

What exactly is happening for you Buttcheeks?

I launch the game and click start. The game tries to connect to the servers and then a message pops up at the top of the screen in black saying, "We're sorry, we can't seem to connect to the Jackbox Games servers. Please check that your internet connection is working properly." I am able to connect to Steam, the jackbox.tv website, and the rest of the internet and games fine. Thank you!

Hey, I'm having a similar problem. I can't even connect to the jackbox.tv on the game (but can in a browser), all it shows is "Having trouble phoning home" then I'm booted back to the main menu to select a game.

Actually, I just found the problem. It was on my end, of course. My Total Defense Internet Security software was blocking the connection. Everything is working now. Thanks, Jackbox!

I tried, and it works. Apparently, AdAware doesn't trust Jackbox. Thanks for the help, guys!

yup same as other people, couldnt connect. COMPLETELY disabled ad-aware and worked perfect. Can't just turn off real time protection, I had to stop ad aware program
