All you can do with just the PC is single player "You don't know Jack". Everything else you need a phone or tablet to have other people play.
Dude how are you supposed to draw things or enter "lies" if you don't use a phone/tablet. All it is is a sort of buzzer, while everyone uses the game you launch as the gameshow. It's pretty awesome and I'm not sure who you're around that doesn't have at least have a phone with a browser on it.
Yeah sorry some of us can't afford any of them fancy phones, or tablets. I've been trying to save up for a tablet but thing's keep dipping into it.. like you know... other bills. But you know a tablet is more important then say keeping the lights on. So yeah, not all of my friends have such, myself as well.
As for 'how'...
Plus I dunno... draw with your mouse? Type stuff in like I am now? Could just open up a browser page with everything, pick a name, go to room, have everything right there and go. Least that is what I thought you could do sense there is the whole website and all.. but it seems not.
Someone needs to really be more clear.
I aslready asked if people could use their PC browser for the game.. I got the answer of no, only phone or tablet. Now you're saying yes?
What's the answer then?!
Yeah everyone would need there own PC though. Maybe different web browsers on the same PC? but that might be hard since they give you a short period of time to answer.
1. Any device that can connect to the internet can be used to play this game.
2. If there are two or more people who wish to play, there have to be 3 devices that connect to the internet, one that hosts the game, and one for each player. This applys to any number of people who want to play. The only game in the bundle that can be played single player is "You Don't Know Jack 2015."
3. Only the person who is hosting the game needs to own a copy of the game, everyone else can just go to jackbox.tv to play.
4. Twitch DOES work, kind of. There is a lag on the streaming service, meaning if you want to play the games online, your best bet is to use a different streaming service with less lag. I would reccomend getting your friends/family together in the same room and playing the game though, as that is pretty obviously how the game was intended to be played. I can also confirm that it is the most fun way to play the game, I've tried both. If you can't get them all in the same room, streaming the game will work.
