Steam Link and the Jack Box Party Packs

Hey all, it's Summer Sale time and I've been wanting to get a Steam Link so I can start inviting people over for some YDKJ fun, but I wanted to see if anyone has used the Steam Link with their television for this purpose? I honestly don't think I would use it for anything else and wanted to get the experiences of others before buying.

There shouldn't be any latency to notice. You control the game with your Smartphone anyway. The steam link is low power and silent, so it's an excellent fit for JB

I do this all the time, the Jackbox games/Use your Words and the Steam Link are a match made in party heaven.

I have Steam Link and the game, how do I get my smartphone hooked up to be used with this, I don't get it.

Hey Moos, when you load up one of the Jackbox Party games on your Link, go ahead and pick the game you want to play, at the front page of the game you selected will be the direction to go to a web address (something like Jackbox.tv) and when you get there you will have a 4 digit code to enter. You and everyone playing with you will enter that code on their own phone browsers, but you'll all use the same website and 4 digit code.
