Lost my progress for YDKJ
My high scores for You Don't Know Jack are gone! The problem is, this means I can't access the later episodes. Is there a way to just unlock them all, or get my scores back?

Even when I try to play the game again, I can't save any new scores. I won't be able to play YDKJ anymore if this problem doesn't get fixed.

All of this happened after a massive update back in July/August. The update was over 1GB, for a game that is less than 1GB. It's ridiculous, and it ended up causing problems instead of fixing any for me. :/

happened to me too. was at like episode 13 or something and came back to notice im at 0 games played. played many months ago, updated the game, now its gone and im back at 0 lol

about half way through the episodes, started up TJPP today and its gone AGAIN. please fix this jackbox

In order to solve the problem on my device I had to uninstall the game and manually delete any game data both from the "local game files" as well as the local user AppData. Then make sure to disable the cloud data on Steam (Steam -> Setttings -> Cloud). If you do not disable cloud data the game will be downloaded with your old incorrect files. After downloading the game this way it seems to work correctly and cloud data can be turned back on.

If you need help locating any of these files are settings please let us know and I can walk you through the process more thoroughly. Also, after you have redownloaded the game I can share with you the process of unlocking all of the game episodes within the game files if you do not want to manually unlock them again.

I did all that, and all it did was apparently cause me to lose all my local data as well as my cloud data. Now it looks like my progress is completely lost.

edit: reading between the lines it sounds as though this was the expected outcome, but I'm puzzled as to how this can be considered a fix since it only caused me to lose what little data I had remaining.

i am in the same boat. The game doesnt save the data on linux, so i only have access to the first 5 levels. why are they locked in the first place?!
