Original had music tracks from the cd itself. But be thankfull that you can't hear the damn annoying music.

Just put up a Fear Factory cd and you are set.

Except that when I experience a game, I want to experince it how it was intended. Plus I don't have any fear factory, all I have is enrique iglesias and micheal bubble.

Iglesias is still more fitting than TDR2000 original soundtrack.

But I have the Hero album , not one of the more party orianted ones, half the songs have to do with angst, love, or there slow ballads.

Still better lol. But anyway you can load up a youtube playlist of the game soundtrack and have it play in the background, consider that the game had no specific music during races, just random tracks beign played all the time.

If you still have the original disc, you can put it in and the music will work just like intended.
...what? You don't have an original retail copy of every Carmageddon game? What's wrong with you? :P

But I agree, you bought the game, you should get the whole deal, so I ripped them just for you. Just play them in shuffle for the original experience:
MP3[somesingawful.com]
OGG[somesingawful.com]
Music by Utah Saints and Plague.

You poor person. Why would you torture yourself with that stuff? ;)

Get some Rammstein, Rob Zombie and Saxon. Crank it up and away you go!

I actually really like the TRD soundtrack. Really wish they got it working.

I loved the TDR soundtrack back in the day, if anyone wants to give themselves some nostalgia, just look up John 5 and Uttah Saints, both provided 3 tracks each to the game.

just copy the music folder and the following 4 files from the GOG version of the game (this problem is fixed in that version) and paste them in the Steam version.

music folder (all in capital letters), contains track02 to track07
libogg-0.dll
libvorbis-0.dll
libvorbisfile-3.dll
winmm.dll

Load the game and the original music will play.
Giving la Vida loca a whole new meaning...

Hahaha 😆
