If you need to reset a specific neighborhood, follow the instructions below:
Navigate to Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 Legacy/Neighborhoods and delete the folder of the neighborhood you want to reset:
E001 = Belladonna Cove
F001 = Desiderata Valley
G001 = Riverblossom Hills
N001 = Pleasantview
N002 = Strangetown
N003 = Veronaville
Next, go to the root folder of the game (by default it's C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy).
For Pleasantview, Strangetown, or Veronaville, go to The Sims 2 folder (Base).
For Riverblossom Hills, go to The Sims 2 Seasons folder (EP5).
For Desiderata Valley, go to The Sims 2 FreeTime folder (EP7).
For Belladonna Cove, go to The Sims 2 Apartment Life folder (EP8).
Then, go to TSData -> Res -> UserData -> Neighborhoods. Copy the folder for the neighborhood you want to reset and paste it back into the Document Neighborhoods folder you deleted from earlier.
