Cannot change window size?

My screen seems to be down in the corner and I can't get the game to go full screen properly. The game cuts out the Settings on the panel, but if I press F5, I can access half the settings. The option to change my window size is grayed out. Am I moron who can't even fix a simple screen issue, or is this a bug that came with the new patch?

I can still see my screen but the UI is tiny now. All my screen size options are greyed out too.

Same here,plus scrolling not work . Unplayable in this way.

had the same problem but then realised it is only the menu screen that is like that the neighbourhood and actual household plays full screen

that happen with recent patch, if you read the changelog, it mention "The Sims 2 now uses a borderless window to provide the fullscreen experience" that mean the game ran in Borderless Windowed by default, so the reason why we can't change the resolution nor Refresh Rate anymore, and also that broke the Edge Scrolling, which is sucks, i personally prefer the game running in Exclusive Fullscreen, especially with older games like this one for example.

Does ALT+ENTER switch to fullscreen and solve this problem?

I am experiencing this issue as well since the 3/14 patch update.

I have been unable to update the aspect ratio of the screen display. All options are grayed out and not actionable. The current aspect ratio makes the sims navigation menus (F1, F2, F3, F4) extremely tiny. Difficult to navigate build/buy as each icon is quite small.

I am also having this issue in the neighbourhood and actual households. UI tiny, screen size options greyed out and no edge scrolling. Game is now unplayable. Is this going to be fixed????

I have this problem as well as not being able to type ANY text in-game. I tried the recommended fix for keyboard language but it didn't work. I actually think these to are connected. I'm running the game on my Macbook so I'm not really sure how to switch to fullscreen instead of windowed now since they game won't let me change the screen size ingame. Any suggestions?
