Edge Scrolling Doesn't work suddenly

So... I've encountered a lot of bugs, as I'm sure many have. This one is annoying, and probably wouldn't be gamebreaking... if the other forms of moving the camera around weren't making me nauseous. This bug suddenly appeared but seems to be here to stay. I have toggled the option back and forth for edge scrolling as well as restarted the game and my computer, and it doesn't seem to get it back. Have others experienced this? Or fixed it?

w, a, s, d can be used to scroll while edge scrolling isn't working. It really isn't that bad using those keys one you get used to it - hopefully this helps someone :).

You can press and hold the right mouse button to drag your screen around a bit. It's very fast, so a gentle touch is needed, but I got used to it very quickly. I want my edge scrolling back, but this will work in the meantime.

My UI hasn't scaled strangely, but I had been playing the game with the same resolution setting as my computer's default. I think some people weren't able to get it running properly in their default resolution and had to settle for smaller. Now with the game *apparently* setting resolution based on the default for your computer, that might be making some people's UI super small.

I hope there will be a fix next week!

I am experiencing this issue as well since the 3/14 patch update.

Also have been unable to update the aspect ratio of the screen display. All options are grayed out and not actionable. The current aspect ratio makes the sims navigation menus (F1, F2, F3, F4) extremely tiny. Difficult to navigate build/buy as each icon is quite small.

Finally, the cheat bar (shift, ctrl, c) will populate, however any attempts to type in cheat codes yield no action. Nothing populates in the cheat bar, and hitting "escape" does not remove the cheat bar from the screen as it has previously.

Same here. I'm glad I decided to see if anyone else was having the same issues before I started deleting cc.

Same here. I agree, game was running fine for me, a few hiccups along the way, but it played very well. Now, not so much. Edge scrolling is a game changer for me, die hard habits are hard to change, lol. Please fix this,

There was just a patch, and that seems to have caused this. They made a change in how the game handles resolution, and while I was searching about this issue, I read that there was some connection between resolution and edge scrolling. So, I think that's why it broke suddenly, and that this will get fixed soon.

I discovered something, though. I entered a lot to check if edge scrolling worked there, and then pressed Alt+ Tab to add to my post here, and the screen moved. So, I fiddled around and if I press alt, I can sort of drag my screen around.

Wherever my mouse is within the screen when I press Alt, it moves from there. To move around faster than arrow keys (while waiting for this bug to get fixed) try putting your cursor at the edge you want to move toward, then press alt and drag the screen over. This is mostly useful in the neighbourhood view, because on the lot, it's easier to zoom way out and then zoom in where you want to.

Yeah literally right after the update both screen scrolling and my resolution was glitched out, and it crashes frequently when starting the game up, I really hope they fix this soon T o T
