The Sims™ 2 Legacy Collection

CC Lots not showing?
Hi, just bought the Legacy, and for some reason any CC lots I download and install do not seem to show up in the game. Anyone having the same problem?

To install CC lots you need to use "Clean Installer" from Modthesims. They have guides on using Clean Installer as well. Basically you use it to open the sims2pack file, it produces a set of different package files that you then drop in your Teleport folder.

Are you sure they're in the right teleport folder? There should be two of them. The one that you see under EA Games with the sims 2 legacy collection file should be empty ( even though that's where clean installer puts them ). You need to put them in the Legacy Collection folder where it has the other teleport folder.

Is it possible you can post a picture? My path is…

Even after I extract the files and use clean installer, I put the package files right there. Still nothing.

Also when I transferred my cc from my old laptop, it totally disappeared. Hopefully they make a new patch soon that will fix this error. I definitely don’t want to play without my cc lots. I even tried downloading them again from MTS2, didn’t work.

I also tried copying the neighborhood file from my old laptop and pasting it in the sims 2 legacy file, the neighborhood doesn’t show up.

Are they going into your downloads folder or the teleport folder? My game has two teleport folders and it defaults to the one in the Ea Games area, then I have to manually move them to the subfolder called teleport in the sims2legacy area.
I manually download them to a folder in my desktop and then move them to my downloads folder. They don’t so le up. I only have one teleport folder and there’s nothing in there. Should they be placed in by he teleport folder?
