Going on Vacation - Loading Screen Stuck.

Am I the only one who's having issues when going on vacation? My sims were stuck in the loading screen when I went from a different lot back home to the hotel. :|

Tried to force quit the game but when I load the household, it's still stuck to the loading screen.

I've had no problems with vacations so far, but the game is a bit spotty at best. I found this thread that addresses your issue:
