i want to do a clean restart on this game but idk how

Go to your documents folder, browse to EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy and delete the Neighborhoods folder.

The Folders N001, N002 on the neighborhood folder are the "save games".
N001 = Pleasant View
N002 = Strange Town
N003 = Verona Ville
E001 = Belladona Cove
F001 = Desiderata Valley
G001 = Riverblossom Hills
You can Copy and paste them somewhere safe. You can always delete a current version and paste an old version.
