The Sims™ 2 Legacy Collection

The Sims™ 2 Legacy Collection

Refund warning
If you have literally any playtime in The Sims 4, you will not be able to refund this game if you bought the bundle. For some reason Steam includes your playtime for The Sims 4 and will reject any attempt to refund the game. Ran into this problem myself and now I'm stuck with 2 broken games.

Contact Steam Support, they should be able to assist if this is the case.

But did you buy this as part of the bundle, or on its own?

Yes, because it was cheaper.

Same. I was super bummed when The Sims wouldn't launch. Stupid game still doesn't work. Haven't touched Sims 4, but I had 4 hours played on the Sims 2, it kept crashing so I figured I'd just get it refunded and maybe buy it again once they got all the kinks worked out of both games, and I was denied a refund. Luckily, the SIms 2 doesn't crash at all after the patches, but the original Sims I keep getting the Vulcan error so that's still unplayable.

Yeah same happened to me. And i guess, EA made it on purpose, to every player, who had The Sims 4 before and played over 2 hours on them, to make players not refund it. That's why this game is in the bundle even though it is FREE TO PLAY title. Well i wrote to Steam support and I will see, what they can tell me.

Problem was solved, when I threatened with European Comision to Steam Support. Well they refund me money not to my bank account, but to my Steam Wallet. But still fair than not giving me a refund due to The Sims 4.
I doubt EA was trying to refund trap people with this because the assumption is you've got playtime in 4 and who really does that? I bought the bundle because it was cheaper and hid Sims 4 in my library immediately. ^:)

suckered into playing a free game that has methods to unlock all the dlc for free? yeah i’m a real sucker. frankly i don’t care for the opinion of some racist little troglodyte in an incel steam group. if you wanna talk about suckers, let’s talk about you. used to moderate their discord server, worst mistake of my life.
