Purchasing community lots broken?
Whenever I buy a community lot, visit it and then return back home, the game freezes every 1-3 seconds. This persists, even after restart or moving a family.

Did anyone else encounter this issue and has a fix for it? My workaround for now is to sell the community lot, but I still want to have my shop...

Haven't encountered this myself, but a fix could be to run a business from home. You can get the Open sign from Buy mode, then register the home lot as a business. Not a great workaround if your home doesn't have space for it, but could fix the issue and let you run a business.

Hey nuggz i was wondering if you or anyone knows how to make a lot you built a community lot? Im having trouble with this new bundle and there isnt any options in the settings or to manage households to edit it. Anything will help at this point thanks.

I did have the space, but also the annoying side effect, that my friends go shopping when they visit me. 😄
And locking the doors is a bit complicated since I want customers not to enter my house but friends should be able to.

I might have found a fix!

Found a post online where they explained how to get the error logs. This reulted in a file telling me about an error in the "Controller - Ingame Help" object. So I tried resetting the help system. This seems to have worked for now!

everything is broken still, wehn making a custom neighborhood, after i place like 5 or more residential and comunity lots a pop up with runtime error appears and straight CTD's, also when scrolling around the map for lot placement, game (with mods) it's unplayable right now
