Crashing when loading into household
My game crashes when I try to enter a household on the map.

I get error Direct3D returned an error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL! The application will now terminate.

Tried various things, nothing seems to work. Guess we'll just have to wait. :/
Same. Frustrating when things were working just fine last night. Hopefully it won't take EA long to rectify the issue.

same :{
Just did a bit more messing around, and if you go into create a sim and disable shadows from there, it seems to fix the problem. It might be a toss up of whether you want the shadows, or play the game for the time being.

I know this might not work for everyone but it seems to have done the trick for me.

OH MY GOD THIS WORKS
"Verify Integrity of Game Files" on Steam? You try that? Mine runs smooth as butter.
