Only 5 Relationships Visible

For any of my sims, I am only able to see up to five relationships in any category. I can't seem to establish any family friends either. I'm not sure if the values are hidden or broken completely. I am playing an 8 person household. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix?

Update: I have finally been able to get a family friend. It seems to just be an issue with the display.
