Cooking glitch
Does anyone else have this issue, when a sim cooks a dish, and once they are done, the dish disappears from the counter, while sim moves away few inches from the counter?

My food disappeared in the oven. Had to cook again. Then my sim won't eat her chef salad. Only chef salad. Keep standing up and sitting down repetitively but won't eat her chef salad. As if there's no food on the table.
Got the cooking glitch + when i want to make him write a novel. My game freeze for 2 sec then he teleports next to the PC like nothing happened.

Some of my sims also have the bug with the food disappearing. Or, alternstively, not being able to sit down to eat.
One sim also had the issue of resetting after returning from work and thus making no money.

I really hope at least the food issue gets fixed, it seems to be very common
Oh, I'm not alone in this glitch^_^. It's both soothing and frustrating. This does not happen in the origin version. Well, we'll wait for the fix.

That is what happened in my game too. Everything worked fine before inviting sim over. By the way, just being curious, were it autumn when it happened?

It was indeed Autumn.
I got this problem too. My sims just finished uni and moved into their own house in Downtown, and suddenly they can't serve meals anymore. Kinda ruins the game. Hope they'll fix it soon

Having this issue myself. Definitely had an issue crop with inviting a sim over in autumn as well. Though, notably, the bug affected the inviting sim, rather than the one that cooks.
Also had this issue, i tried to bake in the oven, and It would just break. Food dissapears and the oven door stayed open. Havent noticed the skill or anything, but It seems like for me it only affects the oven, the stove works just fine. Having It on spring tho, so i dont think the season matters

I found fix for this!!

The issue is your sim accumulating a whole bunch of invisible memory tokens. You can fix it by deleting them in simPE. My sim who could cook fine had maybe 20ish items in his memories, but my broken sim had pages and pages and pages of identical invisible tokens. Loading her memories took several minutes, but after deleting all of the buggy ones she can cook fine again!
